Couples celebrate significant wedding anniversaries in May

Mr. and Mrs. Jonothan Bowling, members of St. Martha Church, are set to celebrate their 57th wedding anniversary on May 18. The couple, who have retired, have two sons and four grandchildren. They plan to mark the occasion with friends and family.

Celebrating their golden anniversary on May 17 are Mr. and Mrs. William Potts from St. Edward Church. Mr. Potts is a retired CPA who served for 51 years, while Mrs. Potts, formerly Kathryn Lynch, worked as his secretary before retiring. They have three children and five grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Michael Ford, affiliated with Holy Trinity Church, will also commemorate their 50th wedding anniversary on May 17. Mr. Ford serves as general manager at Our Lady Rosary Makers, whereas Mrs. Ford, previously known as Jennifer Fagan, retired from Mercer Inc. The couple has two children, eight grandchildren, and a great-grandchild; they plan to celebrate with family.

Lastly, Mr. and Mrs. Steven Morris from St. Lawrence Church will observe their 40th wedding anniversary on May 18. Mrs. Morris is known as Linda Roselle Conrad before marriage and works as a certified Louisville tourism ambassador for Louisville Tourism; Mr. Morris is retired now. They have two children and three grandchildren.
