Bellarmine University conducted its 72nd annual commencement ceremony on May 10 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Freedom Hall, awarding a total of 781 degrees.
Sandra Frazier, the founder and principal of Tandem Public Relations, addressed the doctoral students. Brandon Graves, who earned a doctorate in education and social change, delivered the student address.
During the undergraduate ceremony, Bellarmine alumni Bill Mudd and Michelle Mudd were awarded honorary degrees of Humane Letters by the university.
Bill Mudd, who serves as president and COO of Churchill Downs, spoke to the graduates. Bailey Korfhage, a Bellarmine Fellows Scholar with a double major in accounting and finance, was the student speaker for this event.
