The Knights of Columbus and the Parish Council of Catholic Women at St. Peter Parish in Lincoln are set to host an international exhibit titled “The Appeals of Our Lady” on February 15-16. This Vatican-approved display, showcasing Marian apparitions, will be held at St. Peter’s JPII Parish Hall in Lincoln. The event is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Joshua Burks from the Emmaus Institute for Biblical Studies will deliver a presentation about Mary at 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, which all attendees are welcome to join.
The exhibit features 20 panels illustrating Marian apparitions worldwide and was originally designed by Blessed Carlo Acutis (1991-2006), who is set for canonization on April 27. Acutis, known for his artistic skills and passion for computers, began working on these panels before passing away from leukemia at age 15. Completed posthumously in 2014, the exhibit was dedicated to the Virgin Mary.
Presented in the United States by the Carlo Acutis Association, all apparitions included have been acknowledged by local bishops. The display aims to enhance faith through awareness of Marian miracles.
