Bishop James Conley is set to lead an outdoor vigil Mass for the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The event will take place on Thursday, August 14 at 7 p.m. at the belltower on the grounds of the Waverly Catholic Center.

The Mass is sponsored by Our Lady of Good Counsel Retreat House and aims to bring together believers in reverence, prayer, and community to honor Mary's Assumption into Heaven.

The location includes Marycrest, home to the Marian Sisters of the Diocese of Lincoln, and Villa Marie Home and School for Exceptional Children.
