Nominations are now open for the Hawaii Catholic Schools' Innovation Award, part of the National Catholic Education Association's annual program to encourage creativity and growth in Catholic schools across the nation. In 2020, Hawaii Catholic Schools, in collaboration with Chaminade University, launched this award to acknowledge innovation by educators from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade.
The Ka Ho‘oulu Hawai‘i Catholic Education Innovation Award emphasizes 'Innovation for Mission.' Several themes will define this program.
The award aims to recognize and celebrate significant innovations that have advanced Catholic education in Hawai‘i. Eligible nominees include individuals or teams, faculty, and administrators/staff currently employed at a Hawai‘i Catholic School across all grade levels from K-12. Projects can fall into various categories.
