Clergy assignments announced for Ohio parishes effective July 2025

Confirming recent clergy appointments, Reverend Joseph P. Thomas, OSB, has been assigned as Chaplain at Christo Rey High School while continuing his role as Parochial Vicar at St. Joseph Cathedral-Holy Cross in Columbus. This appointment takes effect on July 8, 2025.

Reverend Anthony A. Dinovo will transition from Pastor of St. Patrick Parish in London to Pastor of Blessed Sacrament Parish in Newark, effective the same date.

Meanwhile, Reverend Anthony Lonzo will be taking a personal leave of absence from his position as Pastor at Blessed Sacrament Parish in Newark starting July 8, 2025.

Reverend Slawomir Siok, SAC, is confirmed by the Prior Provincial of the Congregation for the Sons of the Immaculate Conception to become Administrator at St. Patrick Parish in London from his previous post as Pastor at St. Mary Magdalene Parish in Columbus.

Reverend Juan Fernando Bonilla Sanchez, MSP has been appointed by the Prior Provincial of the Missionary Servants of the Word to serve as Administrator at St. Mary Magdalene Parish while continuing his duties at St. Agnes Parish in Columbus.

Additionally, Reverend Msgr. Frank Lane is set to take over as Administrator for Our Lady, Queen of the Apostles Parish in Chillicothe and Waverly on May 19, 2025. He will continue his administrative roles at Sacred Heart Parish and St. John the Baptist Parish until July 8.

Lastly, Reverend Christopher Tuttle will begin a sabbatical on May 19 after serving as Pastor for Our Lady, Queen of the Apostles Parish.
