Couples celebrate significant wedding anniversaries across Kentucky churches

Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Dykes, associated with St. Francis Xavier Church in Mount Washington, Kentucky, are set to mark their 30th wedding anniversary on June 2. Mrs. Dykes, formerly Amy Kampschaefer, is the proprietor of Coral Daisy Designs. Mr. Dykes works as a lead driver at Rosa Mosaic and Tile. They have two children.

In another milestone, Mr. and Mrs. Terry Horn from St. Ignatius Martyr Church will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on June 5. Mrs. Horn, previously known as Romana Thompson, concluded a 37-year career as a waitress upon retirement. Mr. Horn retired after a 35-year tenure in maintenance work. Their family includes one child, one grandchild, and one great-grandchild, with plans for a family dinner to commemorate the occasion.

William and Julia Kortz Weber of St. Raphael Church will observe their 50th wedding anniversary on June 7. Mrs. Weber ended her professional journey after five decades as a registered nurse while Dr. Weber retired following a 45-year career in pediatrics. They have three children and six grandchildren.

Also celebrating on June 7 are Barry and Anna Jo Montana Paul from Holy Spirit Church, marking their golden anniversary of 50 years together. Mrs. Paul retired after serving for 24 years as an educator and school administrator at Sacred Heart Schools; Mr. Paul retired following his role as president of Yale Kentuckiana Materials Handling for half a century. The couple has four children and five grandchildren.
