The Reverend Mr. Robert T. Bollinger is set to be ordained as a priest by Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez, D.D., the Archbishop of Philadelphia. The ordination ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in Philadelphia.

Deacon Bollinger, who hails from Perkasie, Pennsylvania, is a member of Saint Agnes Parish in Sellersville and a graduate of Pennridge High School. He entered the priestly formation program after completing high school and is one of four children in his family.

Following his ordination, Father Bollinger will celebrate his First Solemn Mass of Thanksgiving on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at Saint Agnes Catholic Church in Sellersville. Reverend Christopher M. Walsh will join him for the Mass and deliver the homily.

The Ordination Class of 2025 for the Church of Philadelphia consists of five men. After their ordination, most will serve as parochial vicars within archdiocesan parishes.

Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary has been preparing men for priestly service since its founding in 1832 and recently relocated to Lower Gwynedd Township to enhance its programs with modern facilities.
