The Diocese has announced several clergy assignments effective July 8, 2025. Reverend Brian Beal will transition from his roles as Chaplain at Bishop Rosecrans High School and Parochial Vicar at St. Nicholas Church and St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Zanesville to become the Administrator of Sacred Heart Church in Coshocton and St. Peter Church in Millersburg.

Reverend Paul J. Brandimarti, who is currently serving as the Administrator of the Church of the Ascension in Johnstown, will be appointed Pastor of the same church.

Reverend Thomas Gardner will move from his position as Pastor at Sacred Heart Church in Coshocton and St. Peter Church in Millersburg to become Pastor at St. Francis De Sales Church in Newark.

Reverend Michael Haemmerle is set to advance from his role as Parochial Vicar at St. Paul the Apostle Church in Westerville and Associate Vocation Director to Director of Vocations.

Reverend Denis Kigozi will leave his post as Pastor of the Church of the Resurrection in New Albany to take on pastoral duties at St. Mary Church in Delaware.

Finally, Reverend David Sizemore will transfer from being Pastor at St. Francis De Sales Church in Newark to lead the congregation at the Church of the Resurrection in New Albany.

These assignments reflect a series of strategic moves within the diocese aimed at addressing various pastoral needs across different communities.
