The Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s Office of Catholic Education is set to hold the final round of its Elementary School Religion Bee. This event will take place on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Saint John Neumann Center in Philadelphia.
Twelve students from parish and regional elementary schools across the five-county area have advanced to this stage after succeeding in local and regional religion bees. The event will be broadcast live on the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Schools’ Facebook Page @AOPSschools.
Earlier rounds of Religion Bees were conducted at 70 parish and regional Catholic elementary schools as well as private Catholic elementary schools within the region to identify local champions. Students from grades five through eight were eligible for participation.
The preliminary competitions among these 70 students took place on Thursday, February 13, at Archbishop Ryan High School in Northeast Philadelphia and Cardinal O’Hara High School in Springfield, Delaware County.
The final round features six students who competed at Archbishop Ryan High School and six from Cardinal O’Hara High School vying for the Archdiocesan championship title.
