Nebraskans Embracing Life, a pro-life organization, is set to honor Bishop Emeritus Fabian Bruskewitz at their upcoming 50th annual "Celebration of Life" banquet. The event will take place on January 31st at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Omaha.
The evening will begin with a social at 5:30 p.m., followed by a dinner and program at 6:30 p.m. Bishop Bruskewitz will be presented with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award during the program and will also deliver the keynote presentation.
Jen Brown, a representative from Spirit Catholic Radio, will serve as the emcee for the evening. Other notable pro-life leaders who will be in attendance include Dr. Pat Castle of Life Runners, Gina Tomes of Heartland Maternity, Dr. Lloyd Pierre from Omaha Catholic Doctors, Catherine Schroeder of Gabriels Corner, Sister Renee Mirkes from the Pope Paul VI Institute, and Maris Bentley from Chesterton Academy of Omaha.
