Ms. Jamie Clendening, who holds the title of Ms. Wheelchair Pennsylvania 2026, is scheduled to visit clients supported by Catholic Charities of Philadelphia’s Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Services (IDD). The services include Saint Edmond’s Home for Children and The Communities of Don Guanella and Divine Providence.
The event will take place on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Saint Edmond’s Home for Children in Rosemont, Pennsylvania. More than 40 clients are expected to attend. During her visit, Ms. Clendening will speak with attendees and answer their questions.
Ms. Clendening is from Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. She was born with Spina Bifida and Scoliosis and later became a T-10 incomplete paraplegic after undergoing a tethered cord release surgery on her spine. She serves as a certified peer mentor and regional champion advocate through the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation. Additionally, she manages an online resource and support group called “I Can and I Wheel!”
