Over 100 Catholic parishes, schools, and charitable ministries in the Philadelphia area will participate in #iGiveCatholic this year. The event is organized locally by The Catholic Foundation of Greater Philadelphia in partnership with the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Since 2020, more than $7.4 million has been raised for Catholic organizations in the region through this initiative.

#iGiveCatholic is recognized as the official Catholic Giving Day and takes place each year on GivingTuesday, which follows Thanksgiving weekend. This year’s campaign includes an Advanced Giving phase that runs until December 1, with the main giving day scheduled for Tuesday, December 2.

Last year’s event saw participation from nearly 7,000 donors who contributed $1.8 million to over 90 local Catholic organizations.

The campaign aims to foster a culture of philanthropy within the Archdiocese and support sustainable fundraising efforts for its parishes, schools, and ministries. For 2025, a new feature allows participants to track volunteer hours during the campaign period. Some organizations may log these hours or offer service opportunities for students, staff, and donors as part of their involvement.

Donors can contribute to this year’s #iGiveCatholic campaign by visiting PhillyGivesCatholic.org to make a donation or learn more about participating groups.

Sponsorship for #iGiveCatholic in the region comes from several supporters: "Thank you to our Presenting Sponsors, the James and Agnes Kim and Family Foundation and The Clark Family; our Lead Sponsors, Dilworth Paxson LLP, Saul Ewing and Stradley Ronon; our Partner Sponsors, Cathedral Letter Concepts and PDC Graphics; and our Friend Sponsor, Immaculata University, for supporting #iGiveCatholic in our region."

The Catholic Foundation of Greater Philadelphia operates as an independent nonprofit focused on growing philanthropy according to Christian teachings. It provides fund management and consulting services for donors and Catholic institutions.
