Joseph and Donna Madison Effinger, affiliated with St. Athanasius Church, are set to mark their 40th wedding anniversary on June 22. Mrs. Effinger has retired after a combined service of 42 years, including 22 years with the Archdiocese of Louisville and 20 years at National City Bank. Mr. Effinger concluded his career after working for Raytheon for 14 years and the Naval Ordnance Station for 11 years. The couple have two children and two grandchildren and intend to celebrate this milestone with a family dinner.

Dennis Schuhmann and his wife, Carole Anne Blanton Schuhmann, members of St. Martha Church, will commemorate their 50th wedding anniversary on June 21. Mrs. Schuhmann retired following a 24-year tenure as a registered nurse at Jewish Hospital. Mr. Schuhmann ended his professional journey after serving as president of Parkway Southern Co. for 42 years. They have three children and eight grandchildren and plan to celebrate in the company of family and friends.

Patrick and Laura Siegrist Clifford from St. Agnes Church will also be celebrating their golden anniversary on June 27. Mrs. Clifford is a retired educator from JCPS, while Mr. Clifford retired from sales at Dean Foods. The Cliffords have one child and two grandchildren.
