Eighth-grade student Adam R. from Holy Family Catholic School has been announced as the winner of The Catholic Foundation of Central Florida's Marian Essay contest. In his essay titled "Mary, A Pilgrimage of Hope," Adam recounts how the Blessed Mother supported him during the difficult time following his father's passing and continues to be a guiding presence in his life.

Adam expressed his belief that life's challenges are tests of faith and strength. He wrote, "Life is filled with challenges, and I believe that God places them before us to test our faith and strength. Overcoming these difficulties is only possible through trust in Him."
