In response to these issues, Cardinal Tobin introduced "We Are His Witnesses," an archdiocesan initiative intended as a journey of renewal for the community. He emphasized that this is not merely another program but an opportunity for discernment regarding where God is leading them.

The initiative will focus on evaluating current practices and structures within parishes and may result in renewed ministries or changes in parish alignments. To lead this effort, Bishop Michael Saporito and an Archdiocesan Planning Commission will work with pastors and parish leaders across four counties.
