The House of Representatives has passed a reconciliation bill aimed at halting taxpayer funding for the abortion industry through Medicaid. The bill, which now moves to the Senate, seeks to cut off funding to organizations such as Planned Parenthood for a period of ten years, the maximum duration allowed under current legislative rules.
Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, an organization with over one million members advocating against abortion, has expressed support for the bill's passage. The group is focused on electing leaders and promoting laws that align with their pro-life stance.
"Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America celebrated as the House reconciliation bill, which stops forced taxpayer funding of the Big Abortion industry in Medicaid, passed and advanced to the Senate," stated a representative from the organization.
The organization claims that "Big Abortion harms women and girls, destroys unborn babies’ lives and is a terrible investment for taxpayers."
Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America continues its mission by supporting pro-life candidates and advocating for policies that they believe will save lives.
