Keyana Louzon and Santiago Rubio, two graduates from the Class of 2025, have made notable contributions through their involvement in service projects and leadership roles. Louzon's academic journey is marked by her participation in various honor societies and her initiative to start a service club focusing on homelessness among young children in Brevard County. The club has donated over $1,000 to Family Promise of Brevard and $500 to Ascension Parish’s Social Concerns ministry.

Raised by her grandparents, Louzon credits her Catholic upbringing for shaping her character. Her experiences include serving as a sacristan and Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion (EMHC) at church. She plans to continue these roles while studying behavioral psychology at Gulf Coast University in Ft. Myers.

Louzon's mission trip to the Dominican Republic left a lasting impact on her perspective about education and perseverance. "If this boy can hike up this mountain every day, then I can," she recalled about a local student who encouraged her during a challenging trek.

Santiago Rubio also holds an impressive record as class president and founder of a charity collecting shoes for children in the Dominican Republic. His experience on the same mission trip revealed the tangible impact of his efforts when local children recognized shoes they had received from his drive.

Rubio was deeply moved by witnessing the inauguration of a water project during his visit, reflecting on how such simple resources can significantly change lives. As he prepares to study chemical engineering at Northeastern University, Rubio remains committed to using his education to help others through innovative solutions.

Both students plan to remain active in their faith communities as they transition into college life, carrying forward the values instilled during their time at school.
