The Archdiocese of Chicago is set to host its 22nd annual Noche de Gala on Friday, October 25, 2024. The event will take place at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare in Rosemont, Illinois, beginning at 6 p.m. Bishop Robert G. Casey, Vicar General of the Archdiocese, will deliver remarks at 8 p.m.
This year's gala aims to honor the contributions of youth and young adult ministries within Hispanic Ministry across the Archdiocese. Attendees from various parishes will gather to celebrate these efforts.
Cardinal Cupich shared a pre-recorded message for the occasion: “Tonight is an opportunity to showcase the beauty and richness of your diverse community and recommit to being the 'salt of the earth' and the 'light of the world' within our local Church.”
The evening's program includes an awards ceremony recognizing key ministries that support young Catholics' spiritual and personal growth. Music and dancing will follow.
Nearly 40% of parishes in the Archdiocese offer Spanish-language Masses, highlighting the growing influence of the Hispanic Catholic community.
