The Archdiocese of Louisville’s Office of Multicultural Ministry is organizing two events in November. The first event, the Asian and Pacific Island Catholic Day of Reflection, will take place on November 9. The second event, which includes both the African Diaspora Catholic Day of Reflection and the annual African American Catholic History Celebration, is scheduled for November 16.
The Asian and Pacific Island Day of Reflection will be held from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with registration starting at 8 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, located at 11501 Maple Way. There is a registration fee of $5 per person, covering workshops and brunch. The deadline to register for this event is November 7.
The African Diaspora Catholic Day of Reflection and the African American Catholic History Celebration will occur from 9 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., with registration and a continental breakfast beginning at 8 a.m. This event will be hosted at the Catholic Enrichment Center, situated at 3146 W. Broadway.
For this second event, the registration fee is set at $10 for adults and $5 for youth high school age and younger. The fee includes workshops, a continental breakfast, and lunch. Participants must register by November 8.
