Revered Carl A. Kemme, D.D. Bishop | Diocese of Witchita

Most of the seminarians of the Diocese of Wichita recently gathered for a photo at an event held at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Wichita. This year, 43 seminarians are studying for the diocese.

To the left of Bishop Carl A. Kemme stood Fr. Garett Burns, director of Vocations Promotion. Fr. Chad Arnold, director of Seminarians, was positioned to the right of the bishop.

The college seminarians are part of the St. Joseph House of Formation located on the campus of St. Joseph Parish in Wichita and study philosophy at Newman University. Those studying theology for master’s degrees attend Kenrick-Glennon Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri; Mundelein Seminary near Chicago; or Mount St. Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland.
