Archbishop Shelton J. Fabre has announced several official appointments, effective August 17, 2024.

Reverend Steven J. Reeves has been appointed pastor of St. Lawrence Church and chaplain of Holy Cross High School. This new role will coincide with the conclusion of his responsibilities as pastor of St. Thomas and St. Monica churches and chaplain for Bethlehem High School in Bardstown, Kentucky.

Father Reeves, originally from Conway, South Carolina, was ordained on May 25, 2019. He completed his seminary education at St. Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology in St. Meinrad, Indiana.

Since June 16, 2021, Father Reeves has served as pastor of St. Thomas and St. Monica churches and as chaplain for Bethlehem High School. Prior to this position, he was the associate pastor at St. Patrick and St. Boniface churches.

Additionally, Reverend Kirby Rust has been appointed chaplain of Bethlehem High School while continuing his duties as pastor of All Saints Church in Taylorsville, Kentucky, and St. Michael Church in Fairfield, Kentucky.
