Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio has named Tim Reardon as its new vice president of Enrollment Management, effective April 8. Reardon, who brings nearly 20 years of experience in leadership roles within academic institutions, expressed his enthusiasm for his new position, stating, "I am thrilled to have Tim join us as our new vice president of Enrollment Management," as remarked by Franciscan University President Father Dave Pivonka, TOR ’89.
Reardon, who holds a master's degree in public administration from Norwich University, has previously served in various admissions capacities, including as vice president for Enrollment Management and Marketing at the New England Institute of Technology. In his new role, Reardon looks forward to contributing to the growth and diversification of online and graduate programs at Franciscan University, emphasizing the institution's commitment to student development.
"I am excited to join a mission-focused, student-first institution, where students’ lives are shaped by their experiences at Franciscan and they are prepared to tackle the challenges they face, personally and professionally," Reardon stated. He also acknowledged the university's exceptional performance in enrollment, retention, and graduation rates, highlighting Franciscan's ability to attract and retain students amidst broader challenges facing higher education.
Under Reardon's leadership, Franciscan University achieved its seventh consecutive year of record-breaking enrollment in fall 2023, welcoming 768 new students. The university's first-year retention rate has reached 89 percent, reflecting the quality of education and character development provided to students. With a continued focus on student success, Franciscan University remains on track to meet its enrollment targets for the upcoming academic year.
