The Johnnie and Cheryl Santangelo Family of Independence recently hosted a St. Joseph Altar in honor of Father Mark Beard. The event took place on Sunday, March 10, and featured various activities to honor the occasion. One of the highlights of the day was the "Tuppa Tuppa," a reenactment of the Holy Family seeking shelter. The day also included the washing of hands, the presentation of scapulars, and the honoring of Father Beard. Attendees were also treated to a meal as part of the celebrations.

A photo provided by Cheryl Santangelo captured the essence of the event, showcasing the "Tuppa Tuppa" reenactment and the overall atmosphere of the St. Joseph Altar. The Santangelo family's efforts in organizing the event were evident, and their dedication to honoring Father Beard was commendable.
