WASHINGTON — Today, American Principles Project (APP) released a new poll showing Republicans continuing to gain ground with Hispanics in two key swing states. The survey conducted by OnMessage Inc. among 500 likely general election Hispanic voters in Arizona and Nevada indicates a close race between Donald Trump and Joe Biden among Hispanics in these states.

In response to the polling results, Alfonso Aguilar, Director of Hispanic Engagement at APP, expressed concerns for Democrats, stating, "Joe Biden and Democrats should be very worried. Although for years they have taken the Hispanic vote for granted, their far-left extremism is finally driving many Hispanics to reconsider Republican candidates like Donald Trump who are closer to their values."

Aguilar further emphasized the disconnect between Democrats' stances and Hispanic values, stating, "Hispanics, like most Americans, don’t agree with the radical idea that men can magically become women, and vice versa. They want to protect their children from being indoctrinated into gender confusion in schools and being preyed upon by a transgender industry eager to turn them into lifelong medical patients."

Moreover, Aguilar pointed out the rejection of victimhood narratives by Hispanics and their continued belief in the American dream, stating, "Hispanics also reject the narrative of victimhood the left is trying to advance at their expense. They still believe in the American dream, and they reject left-wing attempts to racialize society."

As the political landscape evolves, Aguilar highlighted the shifting support among Hispanics, noting, "It’s clear Democrats are rapidly losing Hispanic support, and the opportunity is ripe for conservatives to make our political case. That’s why APP is committed this year to bringing our message directly to Hispanic voters in states like Arizona and Nevada where they will play a critical role in the next election."

This new poll underscores a significant trend in battleground states, indicating a potential shift in Hispanic voter allegiance towards Republican candidates.
