Reverend Joseph E. Kurtz, D.D. Bishop | Archdiocese of Louisville

Multimedia journalists from The Record spent a day with Nicolas (Nico) Caicedo, a seminarian for the Archdiocese of Louisville, at St. Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology. Nico is currently in the Discipleship I stage of his seminary formation. Schedules for seminarians can differ depending on individual preferences and their current stage in the process.

The Archdiocese of Louisville currently has eight seminarians studying at St. Meinrad. In addition to those at St. Meinrad, other seminarians from the archdiocese are receiving their formation at Sacred Heart Seminary in Detroit, Michigan; St. John Paul II Seminary and Theological College, both in Washington, D.C.; and Mount St. Mary’s of the West Seminary in Cincinnati, Ohio.
