Dan Conway, a member of Holy Trinity Church, received the Distinguished Alumnus Award from St. Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology during its annual alumni reunion on August 5.
The award is given to alumni who have shown Gospel values and exceptional service in their lives and professions, according to St. Meinrad's press release.
Conway is the 35th person to receive this recognition. He has focused his career on Christian stewardship, working in development roles and as a consultant for dioceses, religious orders, and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. He also writes “The Good Steward,” a monthly column published in The Record.
“The more we understand that everything we have and everything we are is a pure gift from God … the happier we are. Stewardship is a form of spirituality that’s particularly appropriate for us laypeople,” Conway said in the statement.
