Benedictine University has introduced a new admissions program in partnership with Niche Direct Admissions. The initiative is designed to make the college application process easier for students and their families.
Qualified students in Illinois and across the United States who meet Benedictine University's enrollment criteria will be notified immediately of their acceptance based on the information provided in their Niche profile.
"Direct admissions programs are rapidly expanding nationwide and increasing in popularity as more forward-thinking colleges look to adopt a modernized, student-friendly process. These programs help break down barriers to enrollment, encouraging more students (especially Pell Grant-eligible, first-generation, and underrepresented students) to pursue higher education," according to the university.
Niche is used by half of all college-bound seniors each year, and over 50 million people use it to research colleges. Through Niche Direct Admissions, which was named one of TIME's Best Inventions of 2024, students who qualify will receive instant notification of acceptance status, upfront scholarship offers, detailed college information, and can start the enrollment process within their Niche account.
