Jenna Handali, a student from Greenwich, Connecticut, is gaining practical experience this summer as a management trainee at Enterprise Mobility in Stamford. This opportunity allows her to apply her management skills in a fast-paced environment. Handali credits Iona University for preparing her for such experiences.

"I am particularly drawn to management for its practical and concrete applications in the real world," she said. She attributes her readiness to the support from Iona's Career Development Center, specifically mentioning Jennifer Friary and Darelle Thomas.

Handali appreciates the networking opportunities and alumni connections provided by Iona, which have enhanced her educational journey. "The LaPenta School of Business faculty are exceptional," she noted. "Their support has helped me grow at every stage."

Despite uncertainties ahead, Handali feels equipped to handle challenges due to her education at Iona. "Iona has equipped me with the skills to handle the unexpected and effectively navigate uncertainty," she added.

Iona University was founded in 1940 and offers a range of undergraduate and graduate programs across various disciplines. It is recognized nationally for academic excellence and social mobility. The university recently expanded its facilities with a new campus in County Mayo, Ireland, and changed its status from college to university in July 2022.
