Casa del Carmen Preschool Academy, a ministry of Catholic Charities of Philadelphia, is set to celebrate the graduation of 42 preschool students from the class of 2025. The event will take place on Thursday, June 17, 2025, at Holy Innocents Catholic Church in Philadelphia.
The ceremony will feature each graduate wearing a cap and gown as they receive their diplomas. In addition to diplomas, graduates will be awarded certificates and a gift bag containing essential kindergarten supplies. Among these items is the book "The Night Before Kindergarten" by Natasha Wing. After the formal proceedings, there will be an opportunity for students to take photographs with their families and teachers.
Casa del Carmen Preschool Academy has been serving North Philadelphia's Latino community for over 25 years. Located in the Hunting Park neighborhood, it offers bilingual early childhood education for children aged three to five. The academy is part of PHLpreK and PreK Counts programs and holds a Keystone Stars 4 rating from the Department of Human Services.
