Couples celebrate significant wedding anniversaries in June

Garrett and Jeanine Clark Burke, who are part of St. Patrick Church, will mark their 50th wedding anniversary on June 13. Mrs. Burke has retired after a 30-year career as a customer service manager at Zoeller Pump Company. Mr. Burke is a retired locomotive engineer from Norfolk Southern Railroad and also served in the U.S. Army. They have three children and five grandchildren.

William and Carolyn Miller Hunton, members of St. Stephen Martyr Church, are set to celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary on June 11. Mr. Hunton retired from Prudential Insurance following 31 years of service and has dedicated over 20 years volunteering at Franciscan Kitchen. The couple is blessed with three children, six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Ralph and Mary Lou Larrick Walz, affiliated with Epiphany Church, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on June 14. Mr. Walz concluded his career with the Army Corps of Engineers after 37 years of service, while Mrs. Walz is a retired Catholic school teacher. They have two children and five grandchildren and recently enjoyed a Caribbean cruise to commemorate the occasion.

Jerry and Esther Kohan from Emmanuel Church in Albany, Kentucky, celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on June 4. Both are now retired and have four children, along with twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Jerry and Bev Riley Beckman from Holy Trinity Church celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on June 5. Mr. Beckman ended his career at PNC Bank after two decades of service, while Mrs. Beckman retired from Jewish Hospital following a 30-year tenure. They have three children and five grandchildren and plan to celebrate with a Mass alongside family.
