Reverend Joseph E. Kurtz, D.D. Bishop | Archdiocese of Louisville

Epiphany and St. William churches are set to hold a forum on social concerns focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) along with Catholic social teaching. The event is scheduled for May 8 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Epiphany’s community center, located at 914 Old Harrods Creek Road.

The panel will feature Lexington Bishop John Stowe and Dr. Jessica Buckley, a higher education administrator at the University of Louisville’s College of Education and Human Development.

According to a press release from Epiphany, Dr. Buckley will discuss the "impact that attacks on DEI are having on educational systems and student learning." The release also states that Bishop Stowe will explore how DEI is connected to Catholic social teaching. To register for the forum, interested parties are advised to contact Brayton Bowen at 558-2154 or send a message to brayton@howlandgroup.com.
