Bellarmine University will conduct its 72nd commencement ceremonies on May 10 at the Kentucky Exposition Center's Freedom Hall. The institution is set to confer a total of 781 degrees.
Two separate ceremonies are planned. Graduate and doctoral candidates will gather at 10 a.m., while undergraduate candidates will assemble at 2 p.m.
Sandra Frazier, founder and principal of Tandem Public Relations, has been chosen to deliver the commencement address for the doctoral students. Joining the proceedings, Brandon Graves, a doctorate recipient in education and social change, will provide the student address.
During the undergraduate ceremony, Bellarmine alumni Bill Mudd and Michelle Mudd will be recognized with the university’s honorary degree of Humane Letters. Bill Mudd, who serves as the president and COO of Churchill Downs, will also address the graduates. The student speaker will be Bailey Korfhage, a Bellarmine Fellows Scholar with a double major in accounting and finance.
