Samantha Kelley will be the commencement speaker at Walsh University's 2025 graduation ceremony on May 3, where she will receive an Honorary Doctorate of Applied Leadership. The event will celebrate more than 600 graduates and honor contributions to leadership, faith, and service.

Kelley, the founder of FIERCE Athlete Inc., is recognized for her dedication to empowering female athletes by integrating faith and authentic identity into sports. A former Division I soccer player at the University of Connecticut, Kelley has built a national platform to mentor young women in sports.

Kelley's athletic journey began in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, excelling in soccer, ice hockey, and track. Her collegiate experience was pivotal, inspiring her to support others in athletics. She worked with FOCUS and Varsity Catholic before founding FIERCE in 2017.

FIERCE Athlete Inc. focuses on mentorship, training, and spiritual development for women athletes. Kelley's mission integrates physical, mental, and spiritual wellness, guided by her education in Catholic Psychology from Divine Mercy University and studies in Theology of the Body.

Her influence is growing through speaking events, media appearances, and The FIERCE Podcast. Kelley's work addresses the evolving conversation on women's athletics, emphasizing clarity and conviction.

Walsh University expressed honor in welcoming Kelley as the commencement speaker, recognizing her alignment with the institution's mission of faith, leadership, and service.
