Reverend Joseph E. Kurtz, D.D. Bishop | Archdiocese of Louisville

Hildegard House, located at 114 Adams St., is actively seeking volunteers to act as compassionate companions. The role involves providing end-of-life care for individuals without a home or loved ones. Volunteers are expected to serve a weekly five-hour shift, allowing residents to receive hospice care and die with dignity.

The organization has announced a training session for new volunteers scheduled for March 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Those interested can find more information by visiting hildegardhouse.org or contacting the volunteer coordinator at volunteers@hildegardhouse.org or by calling 653-1468.
