Reverend Joseph E. Kurtz, D.D. Bishop | Archdiocese of Louisville

Nativity Academy at St. Boniface is set to receive financial support from the sales of a newly published book. The book, titled “Messages of Faith, Joy and Hope: Homilies on the Readings of Cycle A,” features homilies by Father William L. Fichteman, a priest who served in the Archdiocese of Louisville until his passing in 2022.

Father Fichteman's homilies originate from his time as rector at the Cathedral of the Assumption located in downtown Louisville. He was also instrumental in co-founding Nativity Academy, an independent Catholic middle school dedicated to serving children from low-income families.

The book can be purchased on Amazon.com for $14.95, with net proceeds directed to benefit Nativity Academy.
