Archbishop Shelton J. Fabre has announced new assignments for a deacon and a priest, effective July 18, 2025.

Deacon Joseph R. Dant will serve as administrator pro-tempore of Our Lady of Mercy Church in Hodgenville, Kentucky, and St. Ann Church in Howardstown, Kentucky. This role will be in addition to his current responsibilities at St. Augustine Church in Lebanon, Kentucky, and Holy Name of Mary Church in Calvary, Kentucky.

The Very Rev. Anthony L. Chandler, KCHS, has been appointed presbyteral moderator of Our Lady of Mercy and St. Ann churches. He will continue his duties as pastor of Holy Spirit and St. Leonard churches and presbyteral moderator of Ascension Church and St. Gregory Church in Samuels, Kentucky. Additionally, he remains the administrator pro-tempore of St. Francis of Assisi School while serving as vicar for priests and director of the Office of Priest Personnel.
