Reverend Joseph E. Kurtz, D.D. Bishop | Archdiocese of Louisville
St. Louis Bertrand Church is set to host a significant religious event on December 10, featuring a major relic of St. Thomas Aquinas. The day will begin with a votive Mass celebrated by Archbishop Shelton J. Fabre at noon. Following the Mass, attendees will have the opportunity for public veneration of the relic and confessions until 6 p.m.
The day's events will continue with solemn vespers conducted by the Dominican Friars at 6 p.m., concluding with a reception in the parish’s O’Brien Hall. For any inquiries, individuals are encouraged to contact the parish office at 583-4448.
Attendees participating in this pilgrimage can receive a plenary indulgence under certain conditions: detachment from sin, confession, receiving the Eucharist, and praying for the pope’s intentions.
