Reverend Joseph E. Kurtz, D.D. Bishop | Archdiocese of Louisville

All healthcare workers and their families, regardless of religious affiliation, are invited to participate in the annual Healthcare Professionals Mass. This event is scheduled for October 20 at the Cathedral of the Assumption, located at 433 S. Fifth St.

The liturgy will be conducted by Archbishop Shelton J. Fabre at noon. Organizers have stated that the Mass aims to seek "God’s blessing — through the intercession of St. Luke, patron saint of physicians — on healthcare workers."

Attendees who wear uniforms or white coats are encouraged to don them for the occasion. Additionally, the service will be available via live stream on the cathedral's YouTube channel.
