Empty Bowls fundraiser supports emergency program at Highland Community Campus

Highland Community Ministries is set to hold its annual Empty Bowls fundraiser on October 13, from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Highland Community Campus located at 1228 E. Breckinridge St. The event will offer attendees a selection of soups, crackers, fruit, dessert, and beverages. Additionally, pottery bowls crafted by local artists will be available for purchase.

Entertainment for the evening will include live music performed by the Louisville Country Dancers house band. Proceeds from this event are directed towards supporting the organization's Emergency Assistance Program.

Highlands Community Ministries receives backing from various congregations in the Highlands area, including several Catholic churches. Tickets are priced at $25 for adults and $15 for children aged 6 to 17, while children aged 5 and under can eat for free.
