The National Eucharistic Pilgrimage will arrive in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati from July 1 to 8. This pilgrimage, known as "Jesus is Here," involves a journey with the transubstantiated bread, or Eucharist, processed in a sacred vessel. The eastern route of the pilgrimage, named the St. Elizabeth Anne Seton Route, began in New Haven, Connecticut, and has traversed several cities including New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, and Columbus.

From July 1 to 8, pilgrims will visit various locations within the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Notable stops include ten parish churches, Greene County Jail, Pregnancy Center Plus, and the Cathedral Basilica of St. Peter in Chains.

On Saturday, July 6, more than 3,000 participants are expected for events beginning with a Eucharistic Procession from Holy Cross-Immaculata Church in Mount Adams at 8:45 a.m., followed by Mass at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Peter in Chains at 10:00 a.m., celebrated by Archbishop Dennis M. Schnurr. The procession will then move through downtown Cincinnati streets to Fountain Square for prayer and a Jesus is Here Eucharistic Family Festival sponsored by Mercy Health.
