A special Mass, organized by the Disciples of Jesus, is scheduled for May 19 at 3 p.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church, 7813 Shelbyville Road. The service, designed specifically for children, invites special needs families and friends to attend. A light reception will follow in the hospitality room. Young Catholic Professionals are set to host their next Executive Speaker Series on May 21 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 500 West Jefferson St., downtown Louisville. Amy Olson, executive director of Nativity Academy at St. Boniface, will be discussing the school’s mission during the event. Catholics aged between 21 and 40 are encouraged to attend this gathering where refreshments will be served.

Catholic Singles of Louisville, a group catering to individuals in their 40s and over, holds meetings on the first Thursday of every month at 6:30 p.m. The group's activities include prayer sessions, service projects and social gatherings such as dances, concerts, trivia and game nights.

A NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) family support group meets monthly on the third Sunday from 7 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. at St. Albert the Great Church's Parish Life Center located at 1395 Girard Dr.

Parents of Addicted Loved Ones (PAL) holds weekly meetings on Sundays from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at St. John Paul II Church located at 3525 Goldsmith Lane.

The Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program of Catholic Charities is currently seeking volunteers who can visit residents of nursing homes and long-term care facilities.

St John Center requires donations of new or gently used washcloths and towels along with disposable ponchos. Donations can be made via Amazon or by delivering them to the center located at 700 E. Muhammad Ali Blvd.

St. Athanasius Church is hosting a golf scramble on June 9 at Quail Chase Golf Course. The event will include a buffet-style lunch starting at 12:30 p.m., followed by a shotgun start at 2 p.m.

Our Lady of Lourdes Church, located at 508 Breckinridge Lane, will host its annual yard sale on June 1 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

St. Helen School alumni from the class of 1964 are being sought for a 60-year reunion on Sept. 28.

Holy Cross High School, located at 5144 Dixie Highway, will hold a reunion weekend celebrating all classes ending in “4” from May 31 to June 2.

Father Joe Rankin will conduct Bible study sessions on Tuesdays at St. Rita Church, located at 8709 Preston Highway.

The Community Education Series at Nazareth Home is hosting its next event on May 22 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Family Renewal Project is presenting two courses in May and June: Discovering Your Story and Introduction to Theology of the Body.

The Archdiocese of Louisville Ministry Institute offers a variety of faith formation classes primarily held at the Maloney Center, located at1200 S. Shelby St.

The Adult Christian Enrichment Program of St. Bernadette church is exploring funeral planning via Zoom.
