Revered Carl A. Kemme, D.D. Bishop | Diocese of Witchita
Bishop Kemme of the Diocese of Wichita recently shared exciting updates on the progress of the diocesan-wide campaign, One Family, Fully Alive in Christ! The campaign has already seen significant support and generosity from benefactors across the diocese.
During the 'silent phase' of fundraising, Bishop Kemme and his team aimed to raise between $8 million and $12 million towards the total campaign goal of $50 million. Bishop Kemme expressed his joy, stating, "I am thrilled to share that, after only four months of active fundraising, we have secured more than $11.3 million in gifts, pledges, and planned gifts. What a remarkable show of support!"
Acknowledging the crucial role of various individuals in the campaign's success, Bishop Kemme expressed his sincere gratitude, saying, "Your prayers and leadership have been critical to our success so far. I could not do any of this without you, thank you for your support and partnership!"
As the campaign progresses, Bishop Kemme highlighted the enthusiasm and dedication of pastors, parish leaders, and volunteers in preparing for the campaign kickoff in April. He expressed confidence in building upon the momentum and engaging more individuals to contribute generously.
Reflecting on the impact of the campaign, Bishop Kemme emphasized, "Everyone who participates in this campaign will touch the lives of those we serve, now and for years to come." He also expressed gratitude for the faith-filled and generous spirit of the diocesan community, emphasizing the blessings they bring to the local Church.
Bishop Kemme called upon the faithful to join him in prayer during the Easter Season for the success of the campaign, the participating parishes, and the individuals whose lives will be positively impacted by the generosity of the Catholic community.
Through the One Family, Fully Alive in Christ! campaign, Bishop Kemme and the Diocese of Wichita aim to strengthen parishes, schools, and ministries, ensuring a lasting impact on the community for years to come.
