The School Family Association of St. Joseph School in Lincoln is gearing up to host an evening of entertainment on Friday, April 26, at the Rococo Theatre in Lincoln. The event will feature headliner Jen Fulwiler, a stand-up comic, bestselling author, and mother of six children.
Joining Fulwiler on stage will be Father Jake Martin, S.J., a Catholic priest and stand-up comedian who recently completed a Ph.D. in film studies at Trinity College Dublin and is now teaching at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
Sarah Karle, one of the event's organizers, shared that the inspiration for the comedy show and the choice of performers came from Bishop James Conley, who highlighted Fulwiler's work at a Newman Center gathering. Karle expressed the Association's goal for the event, stating, "We hope to welcome an audience, including parents and caregivers, who seek an evening of laughter and connection." She added, “Our ultimate goal is to provide a space where attendees can relax, share in joyous moments, and strengthen bonds within our community.”
Tickets for the event can be purchased online, offering attendees the opportunity to enjoy a night of laughter and camaraderie in the company of talented performers.
