St. Jean Vianney School in Baton Rouge recently celebrated St. Joseph's Day with a special event organized by the fourth-grade class. The event, known as the St. Joseph Altar, took place on March 19 and was a collaborative effort involving students, parents, and staff members.
According to a report, "This year, the 4th-grade parents and staff members served the traditional meal of macaroni and cheese and meatless pasta to everyone who viewed the altar." The celebration was a meaningful way to honor St. Joseph, a significant figure in Catholic tradition.
The event also had a personal touch, as one of the students' grandmothers, Pam Riebert, was involved in hosting the altar. The gathering not only showcased the culinary delights of macaroni and cheese and meatless pasta but also highlighted the community spirit and cultural heritage of the school.
A photo capturing the essence of the celebration was shared with credit to Rebecca Courtney from St. Jean Vianney School, encapsulating the festive atmosphere and the efforts put in by all involved in making the St. Joseph Altar a success.
