The Catholic Times recently announced the upcoming clergy assignments for the year 2024, set to take effect in July, with a few exceptions. Among the changes, Reverend Paul J. Brandimarti will be moving from his current position to become the Administrator of St. Timothy Church in Columbus. Reverend Sean M. Dooley will be transitioning from Pastor of Our Lady of Peace Church to Pastor of St. Brendan the Navigator Church in Hilliard.
Reverend Daniel Dury will be taking on the role of Pastor at the Church of the Ascension in Johnstown while continuing his duties at St. John Neumann Church in Sunbury starting in September. Reverend Stephen L. Krile will be entering medical retirement from his position as Pastor of St. John Church in Logan.
Reverend Matthew Morris will be moving from sabbatical to the position of Parochial Vicar at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Mt. Vernon and St. Luke Church in Danville. Reverend Robert Penhallurick will be transitioning from Pastor of St. Brendan the Navigator Church to Pastor of St. Catharine Church in Columbus, as well as taking on the role of Director of the Respect Life Office.
Reverend Stephen M. Smith will be moving from Pastor of the Church of the Ascension in Johnstown to Pastor of St. John Paul II Scioto Catholic Parish in Portsmouth starting in September. Reverend Kyle A. Tennant will be transitioning from his current roles to become the Pastor of Our Lady of Peace Church in Columbus and Coordinator of High School Chaplains.
Lastly, Reverend Jean-Luc Zadroga, OSB, will be returning to the diocese to serve as the Administrator of St. John Church in Logan.
These assignments were announced by the diocese over the weekend of March 16-17 and are scheduled to take effect in the coming months.
