The annual Chrism Mass is scheduled to take place at the Cathedral of the Assumption on March 26 at 7 p.m. Archbishop Shelton J. Fabre will lead the liturgy, where he will bless and consecrate the holy oils used by parishes throughout the year. Priests in attendance will also have the opportunity to renew their promises.

The event is open to all and is expected to last approximately an hour and a half, followed by a reception. Those attending the Chrism Mass can take advantage of free on-street parking after 6 p.m., and a parking garage is conveniently located next to the cathedral.
