The Archdiocese of Louisville’s Office of Multicultural Ministry has announced a unique virtual offering for the Lenten season. Titled "Stations of the Cross Lenten Prayer Journey: Overcoming Racism," the program aims to provide a platform for reflection and prayer on the issue of racism. Scheduled to take place on Mondays at 3 p.m. via Zoom, the initiative will utilize guided imagery and reflection to guide participants through a prayerful meditation on racism at each station of the cross.

According to an announcement from the Office of Multicultural Ministry, past participants have found the experience to be a meaningful addition to their Lenten practices. The sessions will be conducted individually, and participants will not have the opportunity to interact through discussion or chat. Those interested in this unique prayer journey are welcome to join any or all of the sessions.

For individuals looking to take part in this virtual Lenten experience, further information and meeting credentials can be obtained by contacting the Office of Multicultural Ministry at 471-2146 or emailing jmulligan@archlou.org.

This initiative offers a distinctive opportunity for individuals to engage in a prayerful reflection on the sin of racism during the Lenten season, providing a space for contemplation and spiritual growth.
