I AM BIONIC Award Winners Shine at BenU Goodwin College of Business

In a display of compassion, dedication, and community engagement, the I AM BIONIC (Believe it or not, I Care!) award winners at Benedictine University Goodwin College of Business have been announced. Under the guidance of esteemed Professor H Johnson, these exceptional students have truly exemplified the spirit of service.

The recipients of the I AM BIONIC awards are Gabrielle Perez, Dex Mand Hawkins, Erick Garcia Cota, Xaria Culver, and Abraham Warpness. These students have gone above and beyond, dedicating a minimum of 12 hours of their time to make a positive difference in their community. Abraham Warpness, in particular, stood out by serving over 200 hours last semester at "Feed my Starving Children."

These remarkable individuals took part in various community service opportunities and reflected on their experiences through insightful reflection papers. Their journey culminated in captivating class presentations that showcased the depth of their impact.

In addition to the main winners, Colin Bonine and Dylan Bangs were also recognized for their commendable contributions. Their commitment to service is truly inspiring.

Professor H Johnson expressed pride in the students' achievements, stating, "We strive both on and off campus to guide and inspire all students, fostering a culture of empathy and community engagement at Benedictine University Goodwin College of Business."

It is worth noting that the previous semester also saw outstanding individuals being recognized with the I AM BIONIC award. Natasha Lawrence, Avery Rivero, Jason Almanza, Damian Bilko, Adilene Martin, Kenneth Schenck, and Tyler Watts are among the alumni who have left a lasting impression through their dedication to service.
