The Rev. William R. Krizner urges parishioners to open their hearts to Jesus' love and remember they are blessed, according to a church bulletin in St. Colette Parish in Brunswick, Ohio.
"We approach the end of the church year and will soon celebrate Christ the King — the solemnity which concludes the church year," Krizner wrote. "Be ready to proclaim Him as your Lord and Savior and Ruler of the Universe."
Krizner wrote that as the holidays are approaching, to remember that there are many ways to be thankful, even amid a pandemic.
"God has blessed us in so many ways and perhaps Thanksgiving is best celebrated by being grateful for the people or things that we most take for granted," Krizner wrote. "As you plan for your holiday — however it is that you will celebrate it — recall that God is the source of all goodness and bounty."
Krizner reminded parishioners that God is love and he had a unique and personal love for each and every person both individually and collectively.
